Peter, Roger and families,
I am sorry to hear of Joan's passing. Her obituary described a long and full life and that sure is accurate and true.
Both your parents were very supportive to me when my father passed away in 2010.
As you know, your father and my father were best friends and served together with The Canadian Army. There was no other person to be asked to deliver the eulogy at my father's funeral.
Returning from overseas after the war, both went on to successful careers while, at the same time, raising families.
Your mother was certainly a big part of your family's success story.
I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to learn of you mother's passing.
