Obituary of Anne Marie Chisholm
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne Marie Chisholm which occurred on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born on October 19, 1934 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late James and Frances (Martin) Gray.
In addition to her parents, Anne Marie was predeceased by her loving husband, Colin Chisholm; sister, Mary McKay and brother-in-law, Ronald McKay. Mom will be sorely missed by her daughters, Patty Lehmann (Reinhard) and Debbie Dicks; grandchildren, Colin, Courtney, Christopher and Mark; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Cameron, Liam, Addison, Caleb, Carson and Hunter; sister-in-law, Lorraine Leigh; brother-in-law, Bernie Chisholm (Ellen); along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her husband, Colin, was the love of her life as they were married more than 65 years. Anne Marie had a love of life, as she was blessed with many gifts which were a great source of inspiration and strength. Her musical abilities brought so much love and joy! Anne Marie’s loving spirit along with her beautiful smile will be missed by all.
Her family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at the Loch Lomond Villa for the exceptional care and friendship that was always provided to Anne Marie and her family.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with Covid-19 protocol. The funeral liturgy will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 1:30 PM with physical distancing measures in place. For those unable to attend the service, there will be a livestream of the funeral available on Anne Marie’s obituary on Brenan’s website at service time and will be viewable afterwards. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
