Obituary of Marie Perry
With heavy hearts, the family of Marie Perry announce her passing on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born September 1, 1925 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Alvena (Robichaud) LeBlanc.
Marie worked cleaning houses in her younger years. She enjoyed family get-togethers at her daughter Betty’s, playing BINGO, knitting, and watching CNN.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Carol Winchester; sister, Eileen Brooks (Larry); brother, Francis LeBlanc; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her children: George, David, Betty, Sharon and Theresa Marie; and brothers and sisters: Mary, Celenia, Emeline,
Gerald, Clarence, and George.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with COVID-19 protocol. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 2 pm with physical distancing measures in place, followed by interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
