Obituary of Maxine Ann Hannah
It is with broken hearts that the family of Maxine Ann Hannah announce her passing on August 10, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Perth-Andover on January 13, 1946 she was a daughter of the late Philip and Joan (Albert) Stiles.
Maxine attended Southern Victoria Regional High School in Andover and New Brunswick Community College in Woodstock. She enjoyed a long career as a clerk at K-Mart stores in Bathurst and Moncton. She was a member of Portland United Church and the Saint John Red Hatters Society.
Maxine will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Neville Hannah of Saint John; sons, Philip, Peter (Ann) of Cole Harbour, NS and Aaron (Michelle) of Saint John, NB; brother, Kenneth (Donna) of South Carolina; sisters, Dorine Pirie (Theodore) of Three Brooks, NB, Susan McIntyre (Donald) of Anfield, NB and Pamela Stiles of South Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley, Kyleigh, Nickolas, Emily, Owen and Violet; as well as many nieces, nephews cousins and great friends.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB. A private graveside service will be held in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances in Maxine’s name can be made to the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home or the Kidney Foundation of Canada. www.BrenansFH.com.
