Obituary of Valerie Ann Carson

It is with great sadness that the family of Valerie Carson announce her unexpected passing on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at her residence. Born in Prince Edward Island on April 26, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Avard and Iva (Yeo) Shaw.

Valerie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Troy Carson (Leanne), Shaun LeBlanc (Ray), Charles Carson (Jackie) and Chris Carson (Melanie); grandchildren, Connor Carson, Michael Carson, Joshua LeBlanc and Jackson Leblanc; siblings, Lilla Cousins, Meleita Campbell, Rosamond Eaves (Len), Eric Shaw, Charles Shaw (Marie), Grant Shaw, Debbie Erwin (Donnie) and Dean Shaw (Mary); as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Valerie was predeceased by her brothers, Avard Shaw Jr. and Wayne Shaw.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 6-8 PM. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with Covid-19 protocol. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM from Full Gospel Assembly Church, 34 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Saint John.
