Obituary of Suzanne Lamont
It is with unbelievable heartbreak and sorrow that the family of Suzanne Armande Lamont, beloved wife and soul mate to Ian Charles Lamont, announces her passing on August 22, 2020 at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 28, 1966, she was a daughter of Louiselle (née Michaud) and the late Rino Couturier.
Suzanne began her career as a telephone operator for Bell Aliant at the tender age of 18, and continued there for 32 years where, she eventually became a manager, and retired at the age of 50. She loved life. She loved her family and travelling down south with her husband Ian. Their last trip down to Jamaica was the best she’d ever had. Suzanne was a homebody, and was the most comfortable when she was there. Suzanne loved to laugh. She was a positive and kind soul; a ray of sunshine, and the world was a brighter place for having her in it. She will be forever loved.
In addition to her husband Ian and mother Louiselle, Suzanne will be missed by her step-son Derek Lamont; brother Jeannot (Deb Evans) Couturier; sister Louise Couturier; mother and father-in-law Jean and Ian V. Lamont; and brother-in-law Darin Lamont (Diane); as well as several nieces and nephews. Suzanne was predeceased by her father Rino.
Special thanks to the staff and volunteers of Bobby's Hospice. The kindness, compassion, and support you offered Suzanne and family were deeply felt and greatly appreciated. An extra special thanks to Janet Lamont (cousin) for being there and supporting Suzanne and Ian through this difficult time.
