Mary Ann was my cousin. We had reconnected later on in life so had quite a bit of catching up to do. I had many delightful phone conversations with her, talking about the Dever family and the people we both knew from the north end of Saint John. She was very down to earth. In 2015 when I was in Sant John I was able to introduce my wife Lori to Mary Ann and we had a nice visit with her. I will miss her.

I was one of the homecare workers that worked with Mary-Ann. Mary -Ann was a very loving and giving person. She never would let anyone go without something to eat. She was always a joy to be with. She always fought threw her pain, she never wanted any pitty from anyone. She always wore a smile. Love you to pieces and will hopefully see you in again in a new life.

I often had the pleasure of talking with Mary Ann when I went to visit my mom, Joy Keith at Tucker Hall. I always enjoyed our conversations. Mary Ann was so generous with her time helping my mom and others, Mom liked her very much and Mary Ann will be missed by all.
My sincere condolences.

I knew your mom for a short time and she was sassy , and we loved her. She had a hard time adjusting to have someone look after her instead of her looking after someone. She will always be remembered with a smile . Thinking of you Paddy and your family . Sincerely Janice (4BN)

I was very sad to hear about Mary’s Ann death but realize that the last few years have been challenging for her. She was a very friendly and kind woman who was great at keeping in touch on Messenger and organizing the reunions of the Class of ‘62 St. Vincent's High School. I trust that the warm memories and support of family and friends will carry her children and grandchildren through the days ahead.
