Obituary of Allan Weir Blue

It is with appreciation for a life well-lived that the family of Allan W. Blue Sr. announces his passing, which occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Shannex – Embassy Hall at the age of 93. Born in Montreal QC on June 18, 1927, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Allan) Blue.

Allan will be missed by his children: Allan Blue (Gloria), Margaret-Ann David (the late Sidney), David Blue (Patricia), Ken Blue (Anne) and Cyndi Salazar; special daughter, Carole Patenaude;  ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and loving friend Ann Ernst.

In addition to his parents, Allan was predeceased by his beloved wife Mildred Florence (Scallon) Blue, and a brother Jack Blue.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Allan’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
