Obituary of Carol Steeves

It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Steeves of Saint John, cherished wife of the late Kenny Steeves, announce her passing which occurred on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on March 14, 1952 in Saint John, she was the daughter of Phyllis (Tuplin) Getson and the late Keith Getson.

In her younger years, Carol enjoyed travelling and she always held the memories of the numerous family vacations close to her heart.  Carol loved bowling and was passionate about shopping.  She will be greatly missed.

Carol will be lovingly remembered by her children, Karen Steeves, Crystal Getson (Nathan), Kathleen Steeves, Cheryl Thibodeau (Jason) and Kenny Steeves; six brothers; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Tina.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home.
