Hard-working, willing, jovial and kind. Until his health prevented him, Ward was always there to help in maintaining or repairing the kingdom hall and assisting others in any way he could. We are comforted that this interruption of his life is not permanent, and we send our sincere condolences to Jan and all his family.

My Dad Was a good man who cared for his family the best he new how. Life was never easy for him, but when he learned that he could have a personal relationship with God, he worked hard at making it a good one. He learned that God's personal name was Jehovah, and that Jehovah will soon bring an end to all the suffering, hatred, sicknesses and death that mankind has had to endure for thousands of years. This knowledge filled his mind and heart with hope, and he took every opportunity he had to let others learn about that hope, and how their future could be so much more. He knew that there was no way he could beat this last enemy, Death, but that soon his loving father Jehovah would resurrect him right back to the earth to be with the family that loved him. He knew that this time would be different though. The earth will have changed. All mankind will be at peace. No more racial injustice, hatred, pollution. No more reason for grief and sorrow. And yes, dad knew that even sickness and death would be gone away forever. He knew that his loving God would also bring back his own parents, brothers and sisters that had died before him.
My father was never an idealist. He proved to himself thru a deep study of the scriptures that all things are true.
I cant get into all the important things that made up my fathers life, but I can continue the course my father led in letting everyone know that this life is not all there is. I encourage you to investigate what made my father a much better man. JW.org
