Obituary of Brenda Lyons

We are saddened to announce the passing of Brenda (Boyce) Lyons on Monday, October 19, 2020 at her residence in Shannex- Tucker Park. Born July 26, 1950 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Alwilda (Thorne) Morrison and Claude Boyce. Prior to her retirement, Brenda worked at the Saint John Regional Hospital as a Ward Clerk.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Craig Lyons (Wanda) and Blaine Lyons; daughter, Deanne Maher (Lou); grandchildren: Zachary and Amber Lyons, and Jacob and Matthew Maher; and her aunt, Lorraine Adams.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 12 noon until service time at 2 pm in Brenan’s Chapel. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with COVID-19 protocol. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to A Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
