Obituary of Justin Paul Duguay
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Justin Paul Duguay on Saturday October 24, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on April 7,1962 he was a son of the late Germaine and Delima Mary (Duguay) Duguay Hogan. He passed with his family by his side and a rain shower - the two things he loved.
Justin was a kind, generous and loving soul. He loved his daughter, grandsons, family, and friends. Justin never forgot anybody’s birthday or special occasions. He loved playing cards with his friends, listening to the Beatles and helping people shovel their sidewalks to help bring their groceries in. He always had a smile and “hello, how are you doing?” for anyone he knew. Justin never left any family member without saying “I love you.”
He leaves behind his daughter Jessika Bastarache; three grandsons Aiden Sullivan, Emmett Sullivan and Wyatt Sullivan; siblings, Rose Short (Stephen), Joseph Duguay, Thomas Duguay (Hannah), Stephen Duguay, Simon Hogan (Teri), Nelson Hogan (Karla), and Nicole Hogan (Nick); nephews, Peter, Douglas, Christopher, John, Daniel, Steven, Justin, Ryan, Nathan and Travis; nieces, Michelle, Tanya, Amanda, Ocean, Samantha, Jocelyn, Vivian, Mary and Alix; several great-nephews and great-nieces; and a great-great niece and great-great nephew. He also leaves behind his best friends and card buddies, Allen Smith, Timmy Stevens, Dave Duguay, Galen Wright, Daryl O’Connor, Johnny Doiron and many more. Also thank you to Dennis Goddin and Patsy and Jamie Keleher for everything they did for Justin.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Jermaine Duguay and stepfather, Justin Hogan.
