Obituary of Terry Cameron
It is with broken hearts that the family of Terry Ronald Cameron, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, announce his peaceful passing on Friday, October 30, 2020 at his residence at the age of 64. Born on October 10, 1956 in Sussex, NB, he was a son of the late Albert and Nellie May (Rooney) Cameron.
Terry enjoyed fishing and being near the water. He was a wonderful friend to many and was always there if someone needed him. Above all, he loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Terry is survived by his first wife, Julie Reynolds of St. Stephen, NB; son, Jason Cameron (loving wife, Melanie) of Waiweig, NB; grandsons, Alex, Ben and Hudson of Waiweig, NB; daughter, Tara Cameron (Peter Ganong) of St. Stephen; grandson, Chris Cole (Hannah Jackson) of St. Stephen; granddaughter, Raven Cameron; great-granddaughter, Zaylyn Cameron of St. Stephen, NB; second wife, Laurie Garnett; daughter, Megan Garnett and grandson, Leo, both of Saint John; daughter, Allison Garnett (Hao Chen); grandson, Hao of Seattle, Washington; sister, Vicky Saunders (nee Cameron) (loving husband, Mark) of Saint John; brother, Freeman Cameron of Saint John; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Terry will be welcomed into heaven by his brothers, Keith, Kenneth, Johnny, Roger and Freddy; sister, Mary Lawrence (nee Cameron); as well as long time friends, Johnny, Jean and “Boo-Boo” Robyn Dean.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). At Terry’s request, there will be no visitation or service at this time. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations in Terry’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. www.BrenansFH.com.
