Ed, Elizabeth, Sean, Kelly, Sarah, Connie and Paul - Our sincere condolences to you all. Both your Mom and Dad were lovely, gracious, caring people who played such a big part in so many wonderful memories over the years. Their van never stayed idle in their driveway very long. We were always grateful to them for carting us back and forth to X or transporting us to our Christmas ski vacations! We are sure Connie will be so sadly missed but hopefully is sitting right beside Sean looking down. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Dear Paul, Liz, Sean, we were sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. You may know, Warren's Mom, Norma Coombs, worked at the Keyes house for years taking care of the many Keyes grandchildren, and her mother Ann Oliver ("Nanny O" to Warren) took care of Keyes children before her. Norma often spoke fondly of her work with Mrs. Keyes and all the fun they would have together with the grandchildren! Norma also had a special relationship with Sarah when she worked with Connie. When I heard about this awesome arrangement, I thought "Wow! - She must be the best Grandma!" Warren's whole family has wonderful memories of your mom and dad. Dr. Keyes was the epitome of full service family physician - he delivered Warren, and Norma too! Connie was an integral part of the household and office.
When I started family medicine residency I worked in the office on Dever Road with Neil Young, with Sean and Liz as well, and from time to time would see your Mom pop in to say hello. She was always so friendly! Warren, Norma and I extend our deepest sympathies to you, your brothers and sisters and extended family on the loss of your Mom. She was truly a kind, compassionate soul and so obviously loved by her husband, children, grandchildren and all who knew her.
- Robin Clouston & Warren Coombs

Such a sad day Monday when I heard Connie had passed. We started school together in 1946 at Holy Trinity School then nurses training at St. Joseph’s and best of friends for 74 years!! We even played a duet on the piano in the Music Festival. So many good times, so many laughs. We would pile into “the van” (Connie the driver) every year for our annual nurses get-together at Skiff Lake! Most importantly… we were always there for each other. Such a great group of friends. My condolences to all Connie & Sean’s children and grandchildren, to brother Al & Norma and sister Anne & Rob and friends. She was so proud of you all. May God have mercy on her soul.
In Sympathy & Friendship.

To all the Keyes and extended family,
It is difficult to summarize the memories I have from so many years of Barry and Keyes family intersections. From growing up together, to playing sports together, to skiing, to walking the aisles of the west side Co-Op your Mom and Sarah, to sitting behind your family at church in the gym of St. Rose School, to watching my own children forge their friendships with your own - so many indelible memories and experiences. Fortunately, my childhood experiences with travel in the van were limited... :-)
The one word which has always stuck out with me about your Mom has been elegant. It didn't seem to matter what mayhem was going on, she always appeared gentle, calm and made you feel good. It was a wonderful innate quality she had, which very few possess.
I hope you can all enjoy the comfort of each other and the many benefits she has bestowed and instilled in all of you through having such a large and close knit family. She was a great matriarch, and I am sure she would love to see and hear all of the family stories you will undoubtedly share.
My sincerest condolences, and my sincerest thank you to your Mom for the many great memories I enjoy because of her.
Best,
Jon Barry
