Obituary of Carol Chappel (Hewey)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carol Chappel (Hewey), loving partner of John Paquette of Nerepis NB, on November 23rd, 2020.
Carol was born in Hamilton ON, to parents Raymond Hewey and the late Marilyn (Lowden) on November 10th, 1962.
Besides her partner and father, Carol is survived by her daughter Stephanie Gaudett (Mark) of Maces Bay NB, son Brandon (Ashley) of Kingston NB, brother Mike Hewey (Heather Lightfoot) of Welsford NB, sister Betty Hewey of Saint John NB, nephews Johnathan Cook and Christian Davis-Hewey, and 3 granddaughters, Ava, Abigail and Stella who she loved with her whole heart.
Carol loved being outdoors, sitting around bonfires listening to music, camping on Grand Manan, watching the whales, knitting gifts for friends and family, and making each occasion special.
Carol will be greatly missed by her family and so many wonderful friends and her fur baby Mister
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). With visitation on Friday, November 27, 2020, from 5-8 PM. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with Covid-19 protocol. A private family service will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 9 AM by invitation only. Those unable to attend are welcome to view the service by Livestream. Donations could be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada or the SPCA of Saint John. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
