My deepest sympathy to all the family. Mabel to me was such a special person. Her presence, laughter and gentle soul will be greatly missed.
We are all so lucky to have had her in our lives she was so simple but she was like gold to us.
We are sad to see her go to her new journey. I’m sure God has a special plan for her. I know for sure that her husband Leonard and our mother Mary LaRocque we’re jumping for joy to have her reunion reunited with them. We love you Aunt Mabel.

She will be remembered as Mabel à mon oncle Médor, qui reste à Saint-Jean and for her huge smile. The last time I saw her was at your father's funeral... in this case, I will be there in thoughts and prayers but will not be able to attend physically. Sincere Sympathies to the familly!

To Bruce and the Rasch family. I would like to extend my condolences on the passing of your mom, grand mother and friend. I joined the military with Bruce and met him at Cornwallis in Jan of 1981. During our basic training Bruce invited a handful of us to his home in St John NB where we met his family and were treated to the finest hospitality the maritimes could offer. It’s been a long time since then and I have never returned to the Rasch family home but it is one of my most fondest memories from our early service days. Both of your parents and other family members and friends made this Newfoundlander feel as though he was part of the family, I know this is just one of numerous warm happy memories that you all have been fortunate enough to have experienced. May she Rest In Peace along with her loving husband.

So sorry for your loss. She was a sweet woman. I've known Mabel a long time. Working with her at Kimberley Clark and way before that when I would come up from St. George to visit my Aunt Lodia and Uncle Guy who lived on Anglin Drive. Leonard and Mabel were both good people. Will be sorrowfully missed. Love to all. XOXO Linda ( Martin) O'Brien
