Sincere condolences on the loss of your sister and mother. Losing a mother is one of the toughest moments in life no matter the age or the circumstances. I can still remember Shirley’s father, Walter, at St. Mark’s Church when he was the superintendent of the Sunday school with his pins and bars for attendance.

To all of Shirleys family
I had the privilege of meeting Shirley on many occasions because of my friendship with Betty & Ralph.
Shirley was truly beautiful inside and out.Shirley was pretty ,charming ,loving and a faith filled woman who adored her family. However dear Shirley endured more suffering because of her illness than many of us can even imagine. We now know Shirley is in the arms of the Lord where there is no more pain and no more suffering .
How privileged you were as siblings, children, grandchildren and great grand children to be part of this extraordinary woman’s life.
Shirley now rests in peace and May your memories sustain you during this difficult time which is made even more difficult because of covid.

When I was 5, Shirley invited me to be flower girl for her beautiful wedding. I remember crying many tears as Shirley and Harry were leaving for their honeymoon because I couldn’t go with them. Even on her special day Shirley remained gracious and kind. Shirley was beauty and sweetness personified. Heaven has another angel.
Jim and I send hugs and love to all of my NB cousins.

Dear Ells-Poley families, we are sending our love at this confusing and sad time.
I have vivid memories of my cousin Shirley as a beautiful bride, a devoted mom and a generous cousin. No matter how busy Shirley was, we were always welcome in her home. They were such full days in sunny Fairville, and family was so precious. As a kid-cousin, Shirley made it clear to me that motherhood contains grace, and she was my first role model for it. Sending our deepest love to everybody, Joy Stevens, Jennifer MacDonald, Sam Stevens and Kalen Stevens-Heap

Shirley had a heart of gold. She loved her children so much each and everyone of them. I always looked forward to seeing her when Debbie and David were home for she had a smile bigger than life. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. She was well loved by everyone who had the honor to know her. This is a sad day for all her family and friends. and when you think of her today, she is happy to be home with the love of her life. She has so many wonderful stories to share with him and her memory will be back to the way it was years ago. I feel so bad for Stephen , David and their families as they won't be able to see her one last time but remember that no one can't take away all the wonderful memories you made with her and you will cherish them in your hearts forever. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. I love you all and never forget that.
Hugs to all of you from Denise
