My deepest condolences to all who met Winnie. More memories made around a pool table than I could ever express. He was a true gentleman and not only a student of the game but a great teacher. I can only speak for myself but without his “play for a beer” lessons at Club 74 back in the day I wouldn’t have had the desire to improve so much just to avoid another trip to the bar. So many laughs had with him over the years. And if Winnie didn’t think what I said or did was good or funny I always got that disciplinary look I knew was coming when he’d lower his chin and look up at me through his eyebrows haha. A great man has left us and will be missed by many. Rest easy old friend.
