David, Malcolm, Larry , Stephen , I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. She was such a blessing to all who new her. The love that she felt for her family was immeasurable . I saw that every time that I met her. She especially loved her grand and great grand kids. Anyone that learned how to use an I pad at her age so she could keep in touch with her grand kids truly loves them.
From teaching Sunday School to bowling with the church moms is where I first met Tina and Larry. We have been great friends ever since. Even after Larry got married and moved to Lake Utopia Janet and I would play cards with Tina and Joe every Tuesday night. The most common words were " are you marking me Tina?" Always loved seeing them at the Narrows as well. We always felt so welcome. We never went home hungry. I wish I was there when she chased you around with the flaming bolo bat. We were so blessed to know Tina. She was just like a Mother to me . Love always God Bless Scott & Janet

I was so sad to see the news of your mother. Pre-Covid I volunteered at The Village taking residents to and from Church, as well as reading the newspaper on Thursdays. Your mother was one of my all-time favourites and I spent many hours talking to her, either at the breakfast table before I started my duties, or by her bed on those days she was not able to go to church. She and I had a lot of laughs over the antics of her sons - she truly loved her family and loved to talk about all of you. I was really looking forward to the time after Covid when I could volunteer again and see her wonderful smile. I will miss her a lot.
Sincerely, Cathryn Ward
