Obituary of Marie Patricia Jeannine Arsenault
It is with great sadness the family of Patricia (Patsy)Arsenault announces her peaceful passing on February 6,2021, at the Carleton-Kirk Lodge Nursing Home, Saint John, NB. She was born in Moncton, NB, on January 16,1944, the daughter of the late Alyre and Anita (Saulnier) Arsenault.
After graduating from College Notre Dame d’Acadie in 1962, she started working for Central and Eastern TrustCompany, as Term Deposit Officer. A short but enjoyable career, health issues forced her to take early retirement.She enjoyed needlepoint, baking, gardening and devoted her time caring for her aging parents, and other family members.
Patricia will be missed by her sister-in-law Jeannette Arsenault; nephew Marc Arsenault (Betty-ann); nieceSuzanne Downey (Jason); great nephews Andrew(Meredith) and Adam Downey, as well as many cousins,and close friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Robert (Bob).
A “special” thank you to all the staff (past and present) at the home for the “exceptional” care she was given overthe last twelve years. Special recognition to Mike and Karen (Recreation Department) for enhancing Patricia’squality of life.
Due to COVID 19, there will be no visitation or funeral. Internment will occur at a later date – when it is safe to do so – at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Chartersville, NB.
