Don and Marilyn's daughter Alison and I have been friends since we were kids and still are today. We were even roommates for years. I had the privilege of getting to know the entire family and am sending love and healing hugs to all. I am saddened by Don's passing; may he rest in peace.
Love,
Jennifer (Horgan) O'Rourke

Red was a loving man with a heart of gold . Many of coffees we had together at TIMS at Canes Corner. He would never say no to anyone to give them a helping hand even if he did not know them and never asked for anything in return. To all of his family, my deepest condolences .From a friend Pat Beaudin, a retired Saint John Transit bus driver. His memories will always be with me.

Please do send my condolences to Barb as well as yourself.
Dad's service will be a celebration of his life, and I know distance and Covid protocols make these things more difficult, it will be live streamed for family away.

I’m so sorry for the loss of Don. He was a great man and we so enjoyed our visits every summer, especially Dave.
He and your dad would sit outside and talk for hours, while your mom and I sat inside and talked. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Please know he is in a better place. Love to all, Barb ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Don was truly one of a kind. His obituary captured every part of who he was. We were so fortunate that Bonnie introduced her parents as tenants. They were, by far, the best tenants we could ever have had. Don would think nothing of fixing a leaky tap, helping Burt with something around the yard and of course if the hood of our car was open, he would be there in a flash to offer his expertise! And he WAS an expert in cars! And he would always surprise us with his treats....sometimes sweets and sometimes homemade soup. He put my cooking to shame! He will be missed.
Our hearts go out to Marilyn and all of Don’s family. Rest easy friend.
Colleen and Burt Donahue
