Thank you so much to everyone for these lovely memories of Dad. He was a great father, a wonderful friend, and a pretty darn good curler and golfer. He never lost his spirit and drive to persevere through his health problems over the last couple of years, working away with his great physio team at Shannex. He surprised them every day with his strength and drive. He leaves a huge hole in our lives, but we were all fortunate to have known him. Thank you all again.
Cathy

I first met Jack Mann in 1982 and he made an impression on a kid fresh out of Cow College. Jack made a person feel like he knew they were in the room. He engaged in honest conversations. That was something for a kid in his first job given that Jack was managing a key piece of the industry in Sussex Poultry. He was one of the first Canada Packers managers I would meet working in agriculture. Like his colleague Roy Miske (sp) a conversation with Jack left you appreciating the depth of industry knowledge these people accumulated. Deepest sympathies to his family as Jack must be leaving a major void in their lives. All the good ones do when they leave.

Eleanor and family, my sincere condolences to you on Jack’s passing. I have some great memories working with Jack, he was a great boss. One thing I remember in particular, he would never wash his coffee cup, he took a lot of ribbing over that! Wonderful man.

We were saddened with the news of Jack in the Telegraph Journal and wanted to offer our thoughts. I think of the many occasions of your visits with Bert & Hazel on Champlain Drive. Jack was ALWAYS a Yankee fan and we had differences about that, we had a bond about sports in general.
It was so nice of you to come and see us at that Restaurant near Sussex in 2014, it is more special now.
Recently I have been sorting the slides taken over the past years and came across slides taken when our family visited New Brunswick in 1972 of John and Cathie with Charlene and Dave, they were so young, now they're adults with families.
Our deepest sympathies to the Mann's.
Pat & David
