To Joy's Family,
I first met Joy working with her at the EI Office. I was very young when I worked with her and she would keep the men in line. Bernie the boss always took direction from Joy. Oh what fun we had working there. We had a separate office at City Hall, Joy would put paper in the windows and lock the door at noon hour and we would play ball hockey. Her parents gave her the perfect name because she was always a joy to be around. I remember her and Doris out on the town with the brightly coloured outfits and going dancing. That was the best job because Joy made everyday a fun day. I have such fond memories of Joy and I have thought of her often over the years. So sorry for your loss, she made the world a better place.

Pam, Linda and Greg, your Mother was an earth angel whose beautiful spirit touched so many. While we did not know her well, the times we did see her she was always joyful and full of music and great stories; her name was so suiting. There is another star shining brightly in heaven. Her beautiful spirit will be with you always.
Our deepest condolences to you and all of your family.
Love and blessings, Kathryn and Rick

My sincere condolences to all of the family. Joy was a wonderful lady with a sparkle in her eye and a love of all things glitter and shiny. I have such fond memories of the great and fun times spent in her company. Singing, dancing to disco and always laughing during the many summer days spent with her in Smithtown. She celebrated every holiday and special event with a joy for a life and a special outfit. Loved her halloween tickle trunk. Memories of pepper steak and banana shampoo will be with me forever. There will now be an extra sparkle and shine in heaven with Joy.
Love Norma

My condolences to Joys' family: our mother "Bertie" and Joy were lifelong friends...oh the fun they had! My memories of Joy are of her arriving at Mom's in Smithtown in her white convertible with the top down....red leather interior,,,Joy with her white patent leather go-go boots on and some cute & colourful & sassy little outfit... and the two of them would hatch up some plan for the day.... lots of laughs along the way. Mom has been gone 20 years now---but I think there might be a somewhat loud and boisterous reunion up in heaven right about now. Sharon (Doyle) Lowe
