Zoran said it all. My heart goes out to you Kate for your loss. I met Dave when I went to Ryerson and we were friends for life. Collaborating on papers, exploring Toronto, hanging with John, Willie and Laura. One of my funniest memories was writing a sociology paper with Dave. I was living at a nurses residence at the Wellesley Hospital. So I snuck him in and we stayed up all night writing this paper. In the AM it was a challenge trying to figure out how he was going to use the facilities in a nurses residence. So he put on my blue furry house coat that looked like the cookie monster fur and my pink shower cap. He was quite charming in this outfit moustash and all! There was no challenge that Dave wouldn't meet. But his kindness and caring for all that were in his company was the best of all. ROCK THE CASBAH BUDDY! You will be missed. Moe

Jolanta, So sorry for your loss. And thank-you for these photos. Dave always talked about you and his friends The picture of him, John, Pat and Gary performing at the Ryerson Talent night is priceless. I think this was when they were performing the song Wild Things and and the the 3rd year guys got up and unplugged all their equipment. They were wild with the 3rd years!

It has been a week since my Uncle Dave died and it has been filled with memories, tears, laughs, and stories. While he was not related to me by blood, it never mattered; he always was, and always will be my Uncle Dave through and through. Not only did I consider him to be a family member, but he was a mentor and one of my best friends. Words can not express how happy and proud I am to have had him be there for me throughout the entirety of my life. I cherish all the time that we were able to spend together, talking, laughing and enjoying each other's company or phone conversations. I take comfort in knowing that he will always be watching over me, and everyone else he loved until we meet again when it is our turn to go. I will miss you and cherish memories of your life loving presence. My deepest condolences go to my Uncle Dave’s beloved wife Kate, his sister Jolanta and her son, Uncle Dave's nephew Anthony.

Dave was most definitely a very loved member of Robson family and he made it well known, we were loved members of his.
A conversation with Dave meant you were sure to end up with sore cheeks from laughing hard, as was the privilege of being part of the audience in one of his stories telling sessions. He had a gift to make you laugh and something I will truly miss about him.
I am so grateful to have known him and will treasure the many memories made over the years.
My deepest sympathies to Kate and all of Dave’s friends and family.

So sorry to hear about Dave. Back in the 1970's, we shared many happy memories during our Polish Scouting years. Most particularly our times at summer and winter Scout Camps in Kaszuby, Ontario. Dave could always make me laugh, always full of humour, always a spirit of what makes life so good. And for that, I now miss him much. ~ CJ Morgan
