Gordon, Bill, Simon and family,
We just found out the news of Joan's passing, and would like to send along our deepest condolences. We were Joan and Phyllis's next door neighbours on Rothesay Road. Joan and Phyllis were an integral part of our lives and brought such joy and happiness. Our daily visits with the children running between properties to deliver them flowers they had picked out of the garden for them and sitting in their sun room listening to life lesson chats or lovely stories of their family and Simon who they dearly admired, will never be forgotten. They gave us and our children such wonderful memories.
Joan was always so kind and caring. Her positive outlook on life and her energy was truly amazing. She had a great connection with many people and she was a special lady we admired and adored. It was a sad day when she moved and will be missed by us, the world lost a beautiful person.
We are so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
The Dixon Family (Marc, Candace, Alexa, Isaac)

Bill, Gordon and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. We all have wonderful memories of Joan in St Stephen and later in Saint John. She was so kind to us as children. She was a true, loyal friend to Aunt June. I will always remember her for that. She loved her family and had much pride in you.
Love,
Mary Ann (Creamer) Ketchum

Remembered for her kind smile as I would walk by the office at Netherwood and later when I returned to Rothesay to live, as a good neighbour with that kind smile still openly shared.
