Obituary of Earl Fraser Waugh Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Earl Waugh Jr. of Saint John, cherished husband of the late Debby Whalen, announce his passing which occurred on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on March 15, 1957 in Bristol, he was a son of Earl Waugh Sr. of Springfield and the late Betty Coston.

Earl treasured the times spent with those he loved and especially looked forward to spending time with and spoiling his precious nieces and nephews.  Earl’s teasing and jokester ways will always be fondly remembered by all who knew him.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and there was always a special place in his heart for all animals.

In addition to his father, Little Earl will be lovingly remembered by his step-mother, Barb Waugh; siblings, Ola McIntosh of St. Albert, AB, Wanda Windle (Roy) of Edmonton, AB, Aubrey Waugh (Linda) of Temperance Vale, Audrey Evans (Ron) of Oliver, BC, Cindy Dickinson of Woodstock, John Waugh (Lori) of Pennfield, Randy Waugh (Heather) of Sussex, Jamie Waugh of Saint John, Mae Carrier (Joe) of Pennfield, Beth Christie (Ronald) of Southampton and David Waugh of Quispamsis; several adored nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Dianne Kirkpatrick (Ken) and brother-in-law, Brian Whalen.  Besides his loving spouse and mother, Earl was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Leon McIntosh Sr. and Ken Whalen; sister-in-law, Carol Legere and nephew, Lonnie McIntosh.

Although there will be no funeral service, relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paraidse Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.  Guests are asked to enter the building by using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with COVID-19 protocol.  Interment will take place at a later date.
