Obituary of Kathleen Margaret Owens
It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen “Kay” M. Owens announces her passing which occurred on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Loggieville, NB on January 5, 1930, she was a daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Hebert) Savoy.
Kay is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Arthur L; daughters, Marjorie (Gerald), Iona (Jim), Mildred (Jim), Kathy (Mike); her son, Lloyd; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Billy and Edward; daughter, Gordoniea; brother, Johnny; sister, Bertha; great-granddaughter, Chloe.

With visitation on Monday, April 26, 2021 and Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM & 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with Covid-19 protocol. A private funeral liturgy will take place by invitation only. Those unable to attend are welcome to view the service via Livestream beginning on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 12:00 PM. Donations in memory of Kay may be made to the Diabetes Association of Canada, Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
