Obituary of Joe Arseneault
It is with great sadness that the family of Ovila Joseph Arseneault, loving husband of Donna Arseneault, announce his passing on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Carleton-Kirk Lodge Nursing Home. Born in Rogersville, NB, on July 15, 1934, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Zelia (Henerie) Arseneault.
Joe worked for many years as an automotive machinist at Universal Sales in Saint John. He enjoyed the outdoors and he and Donna loved to go camping. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Audrey Dexter (Michael) of Saint John, Joseph Arseneault of Kingston Peninsula and Paul Arseneault of Halifax; sisters, Maryann Maksymizk of Trenton, On and Theresa Elward (Art) of Saint John; brother, Emile Arseneault (Louise) of Saint John; many grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his daughter, Joann; his brothers, Gerald and Larry.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A private family graveside service will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances in Joe’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. www.BrenansFH.com.
