I remember Mrs. Montgomery from Harry Miller in the mid-80's. She was kind but firm and knowledgeable - I learned a lot from her. I would see her from time to time around town and we would say hello. My condolences to the family.

Dear Stephen, Maureen and Andrew,
I’m so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a wonderful person. Like my mom, and many others, I too had her for Home Ec and to this day, remember what she taught me! What a wonderful life she had. Will be thinking of you all.

Andrew and family - We were deeply saddened to hear of Marg’s sudden passing. She was a very special lady, who always took a keen interest in our family and who will be fondly remembered by all of us. We will miss her Christmas greetings this December in particular. Last year was the first ever, since we moved from NB almost 25 years ago, where we didn’t get a card. She called to chat this past spring though and to apologize for not sending one. :) An amazing person in today’s increasingly disconnected world!
Please accept our most sincere sympathies on your loss. Hopefully the memories of special family times together will comfort you in this time of grief. Wish we could be with you in person next weeklong offer condolences personally. Rest assured that you will be in our thoughts and hearts.

To the family of Margaret "Woolley"- Montgomery;
On behalf of the executive and membership of the Saint John Vocational Alumni Association I send most sincere sympathy in the loss of your dear mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Our thoughts and prayers for strength and comfort are with you as you traverse this most difficult path on the road of life. There are many of us who have great memories of our special teacher. Myself, I had her as Home Room teacher for 3 years 1959-'62. We had to learn to call her Mrs. Montgomery part way through.
May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days and months ahead. Cherish them, just as we her former students do. We will be thinking of you as you say your "farewells" or actually your "see you laters". May you sense the presence of our loving Heavenly Father during these difficult hours and days.
Sincerely,
Louise Jonah-Craine (Hm Ec '62)
Alumni Liaison
