Obituary of Miranda Melanson
Melanson-Crouse, Miranda Dawn –
It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Miranda Dawn Melanson-Crouse announces her passing which occurred on July 2, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John on July 13, 1984 and was the loving daughter of Cynthia Melanson-Pettie and her step-father Gordon Pettie.
Miranda was a very kind person to everyone she met, and always made people feel included and comfortable. She had a special place in her heart for animals, and looked forward to visiting her mom and step-father’s farm in the country to see the cows and birds. Miranda enjoyed shopping, playing games, watching cooking shows, catching up on her favourite television programs. Above all, her greatest happiness came from being a devoted wife and loving mother.
Miranda will be missed by her husband Shane Crouse and their daughter Taylor; her parents Cynthia and Gordon; grandmother Shirley Melanson; great-grandmother Doris Daley; brother Curtis Pettie; step-siblings Brad (Julie) and Katlin; her aunt Tammy Melanson-Lanigan (Jake); cousins Courtnay Mackin (Keith), Brittnay Lanigan (Tommy); mother-in-law Connie Hess (Glen); sister-in-law Kathy Clark (Donald) and their children Lucas, Haley and Quinn; her close friends Kathy, Diane, Maryanne and Lauren; her beloved pets, Buddy the dog and Olaf the cat; as well as several aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by her “Papa” Ronald Melanson; father-in-law Peter Crouse; and her cat Dash.
