Obituary of Patricia Ruth Isnor
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, that the family of Patricia Ruth Isnor of Ketepec, Saint John NB announces her passing at the SJ Regional Hospital on July 21, 2021. Patricia was born in Halifax NS on November 16, 1930, daughter to Edgar Osborne and Margaret Walsh. She met the love of her life Don at the Olympic Gardens, Halifax, NS. In 1951 they married and later moved to Saint John NB where they raised three children in Ketepec.
Pat was an avid card player and enjoyed camping over the years and was still enjoying her summers at the trailer in Cambridge Narrows where she won many championships in lawn darts and washer toss competitions. She enjoyed and excelled in gardening, cooking especially turkey dinners, bowling, and crafts such as cross stitch, and knitting.
Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren always serving them her famous chocolate chip cookies.
She will lovingly be remembered by children Donald Charles [Darlene], James Alfred [Kimberley], and Margaret “Peggy” Ann Isnor [Eric Hopper] and grandchildren Laura, Nathan, Jason, Greg, Christopher, Tyler, Rachel and Nick as well as great grandchildren Alyson, Brandon, Annie, Aubrey, Ryker, Abigail, Autumn and Piper and siblings Joan McKittrick, Ontario and Judi Ritcey, Penticton BC and sister-in-law Theresa Osborne, Ontario.
Pat was predeceased by her parents and her husband Don, siblings Rita Dauphine, Lorraine Hoskins, and Graham “Sonny” Osborne.
The family would like to thank the Dialysis unit as well as all medical personnel who provided exceptional care at SJRH.
Pat will be resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, Paradise Row, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John NB with visitation on Friday July 23, 2021, from 2pm to 7pm with funeral mass at Holy Spirit Parish - St. Matthew’s Worship Site, Grand Bay/Westfield on Saturday July 24, 2021 at 10am. This event is subject to the NB COVID health and safety restrictions. Those wishing to attend the Funeral Mass must pre-register by noon on Friday, July 23. This may be done by email: snorzz2011@gmail.com, or by tel: 506-650-1670. To maximize capacity, we encourage you to register in your family or social bubble, by providing the last name of your family or group when registering. Guests are asked to enter the Funeral Home using the courtyard entrance where staff will greet and assist you with Covid-19 protocol. There will be a private burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Saint John at a later date.
