Obituary of Marie Mildred Kingston
It is with heavy hearts that the children of Marie Mildred "Millie" Kingston (Thibodeau), widow of the late Thomas Murray Kingston, announce her passing at Kennebec Manor Nursing Home on Friday, Aug 6, 2021.
Born in Bathurst NB on December 17th, 1940, Millie was the daughter of the late Harold and Loretta Thibodeau (Legacy). Millie was a lifelong resident of Milford and Randolph, West Saint John.
Millie was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved their visits.
She was an amazing cook and her children especially looked forward to her fresh homemade bread, pastries and holiday meals. She enjoyed Bingo and playing cards. For many years she enjoyed camping with her husband, family and friends at Wally's campground in Cambridge Narrows NB. She always looked forward to and enjoyed the annual extended visits of her special lifelong friend Mrs. Dorothy Vanderbeck of Maidstone Ontario.
Millie is survived by her five children Dale (Maryann), Terry (Sally), Lori (Jeff Murrins), Derrick (Lisa MacLellan), Leanne (Jeff Tulk) and eight grandchildren Terri, Whitney, Alex, Andrew, Nicholas, Devon, Tyson, Kelsey and five great grandchildren Dominic, Ryder, Romy, Jack and Daniel. She will be sadly missed by them all.
She is also survived by her sisters Margaret Guay (Albert), Joanne McLeod (Bill), Ruth Ouellette (Robert), Sharon McKinley (Eugene), Gladys Knox (Don), Sandra Springer (Bill), Lynn Thibodeau (Frank Hillier) and her brothers Richard Thibodeau, Glen Thibodeau (Debbie), Ron Thibodeau (Brenda Sullivan), and special cousin Brenda Clayton (Gerry)along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Millie’s children wish to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Kennebec Manor Nursing Home for the compassionate care provided to their mom during her stay.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, N.B, (634-7424). With visitation on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 11 AM from St. Rose Worship Site (541 Milford Road, Saint John, NB) Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery following the service. Donations in memory of Millie may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
