Obituary of Barbara Anne O'Leary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Barbara Anne (Lewis) O’Leary at her home on August 24, 2021. Barb was born in Saint John, NB to the late Geraldine and Freeman Lewis on May 30, 1956.

Barb is survived by her husband Lawson Bosse; her daughter Samantha Bustard (Mike) of Saint John, NB; two step-sons: Sean Bosse (Krista) and Scott Bosse, both of Saint John; grandchildren: Megan Saunders (Jesse) of Hampton, Mikey Bustard (Jamie) of Hampton, Evan and Ashley Bustard of Saint John; two step-grandchildren: Mackenzie and Mitchell Bosse of Saint John; Five great-grandchildren; her long-time cat Tabby; family friend Barb Dunbar McCarthy (Mike) of Ontario; as well as many friends and extended family. In addition to her parents, Barb was predeceased by her first husband John O’Leary

Barb was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years and loved playing many different games and activities. She was a good hearted, selfless person who was always happy to help those in need.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 12:00 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
