Mr MacDonald was my grade 12 English teacher. I have a memory of him that I still share with people. I was not the best student and missed a lot of school to hang with my friends. He stopped my in the hallway one day and said " Karen! do you work part time? I said " No". Why? He said " well your only here part time, so I figured you must have a part time job'. I don't know why this day stuck with me, but I'm glad I did. RIP MR. MACDONALD. Thanks for the high school memory.

I was a Grade 12 student in Mr. MacDonald's English class at Millidgeville North High School '88-'89, and yes he was a nice man as others have said. I'm sure we gave him a hard time at times, but I can't remember him ever getting upset. I remember when he wanted us to get to work, he'd say, "Pitter patter, let's get at 'er!"
So sorry to hear of his passing, may you find comfort in the memories that you've shared over the years. God bless.

Barb, so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. We had connected several times over the years, discussing some of his health issues more recently. It was still a shock to see his picture in the obituaries. We had many good times working and chumming together as city tour guides while we attended university and later when we were both teaching. May the love of God, family, friends and the reflection on the good memories made with Dan comfort you at this difficult time.
