Obituary of Brenda Nesbitt
It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Nesbitt, wife of the late James T. Nesbitt, announces her passing on August 29, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on September 10, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Barbara (Keleher) Kincade.
Brenda loved crafting with her hands and was an amazing knitter and baker – especially around the holidays. She was famous for her turkey dinners that could feed an army and loved the stir around the house. She lived for family and always wanted to know what the latest was! Brenda liked to unwind doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her sweet cat Eminue. She was a giving, and caring soul, even after retiring from the Saint John Regional Hospital, she continued doing homecare and work as a PSW. She will be greatly missed.
Brenda is survived by her daughters: Kim Nesbitt (Gary Brown Sr.) and Lisa Nesbitt; grandchildren: Michael Nesbitt, Keith Nesbitt (Jenny), and Chelsey Nesbitt; brothers: Stewart (Bernice) Kincade, Kevin (Bernice) Kincade, Michael Kincade, and Allan (Karen) Kincade; sisters: Iola Milutin, and Karen (Mark) Shannon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as her precious kitty Eminue whom she adored.
Besides her husband and her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her son James J. Nesbitt, sister Debbie Kincade, and her grandmother Mary Keleher.
