Obituary of Faith Searle

It is with devastated hearts that the family of Faith Searle, beloved wife of Lindsey Searle, announces her passing on October 8, 2021. Born on March 13, 1953, in Campbellton, NB, she was a daughter of Edith (Demeau) and the late Baden Powell Wyers.

Faith loved the water, rowing with the Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat team and fishing in Kedgwick River. She loved to garden and tend her beautiful flowers. Faith always had a book on the go. Faith was her own namesake, and she was devoted to God and her church, always volunteering her time and teaching Sunday school. Most of all, Faith put her family first and loved with all her heart. She will be missed beyond words.

Faith is survived by her husband Lindsey of 49 years; children: Mark Searle (Diana Roy) and Lisa (Philipp) Leblanc; grandchildren: Abby, Owen, Arabella Faith, Canyon, Avalon, and Auria; brother: Baden (Barb) Wyers; sisters: Marion McNamee and Sally Wyers (Raymond Riley); brothers and sisters-in-law: Birdena, Helen, Lois Dawn, Harry, and Peter; several nieces and nephews; as well as many friends in Saint John and Kedgwick River. She was predeceased by her father.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 4 PM – 7 PM.
