Obituary of Gerry Grozik
It is with appreciation for a life well-lived and gratitude for many years of memories, that the family of Florence Geraldine Grozik, loving wife to the late Wesley A. Grozik, announce her passing which occurred on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at St. John/St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born July 15, 1934 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Moore) Collins.
Loving, stubborn, hard working, resolute, kind, genuine, independent, generous, quick witted and sarcastic, she was ‘classy, brassy, sassy and a little kick assy’ ... this was our Mom.
As we say goodbye to a wonderful Mom, we will forever remember all of the reasons why we loved her so much. So many happy and loving memories will keep her spirit alive in her children; Cindy (Dave), Wendy (Ron), Mark (Tonia), Tracy (Andrew), Trudy (Tim), her grandchildren Carrie, Amelia, Ashley and Jacob. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews and especially her brother Doug (Ellen) who helped care for her in her later years.
She was predeceased by her sisters Margaret Collins, Shirley Tibbetts, Daphne Carr, Valerie Conway.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home. There will be no visitation and no funeral service. Donations in her memory can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com.
