Uncle Walter you will be so missed. You were so good to all of us kids and always had a smile and a joke for us. You were always happy to see us and let us watch the latest sports game with you. And you had the best memory of anyone I have ever met! Quoting Jays stats from the 70's..truly unbelievable. My favorite was when you would tell me you were the best looking of all the Breen boys. You were so certain how could it not be true! I'll miss your smile and your gentle ways. See you again one day in Heaven one day Uncle Walter. We can watch the Blue Jays together again.

My heart goes out to all the Breen Family! My sincere condolences! Uncle Walter was a great man! He was a devoted Son and Brother! Always put others needs before himself. I’ll always cherish our Sunday drives with Uncle Walter and Uncle Ronnie AKA Sunshine. Me and Walter taught Uncle Ronnie how to count 1to10! During our country side drives ! We always loved to drive to Belmont and reminisce about the good old days ! Rest Easy Uncle Walter till we meet again ♥️ Nephew Gary and Tabby and Cole

Ann and Judy, so sorry for your loss. Walter was a friend to any and all. I got to know him at the bowling alley and he was always ready to let me know how great or how bad my bowling was. He was always kind and had many stories to tell. He will certainly be missed and especially by his close family and friends. The memories shared on his Tribute Wall show that he was really loved by each of you . Walter, you enjoy your rest now. In my mind I will hold sweet memories of you. You would love reading all the kind words and the pictures are beautiful. Until we meet again--Hugs Leah

I never saw Uncle Walter that he wasn’t smiling… he was kind and generous with his heart, and I have so many wonderful memories of visiting Nanny and Grampy Breen where he would come out from his bedroom in the back to sit on the couch with us and visit. As we got older he would joke mercilessly about being the best looking Breen brother, and who could argue! Give everyone in Heaven a hug for me… til we see you again. <3 Corinne

Any given day I could look out my window here in Rockwood Ct. and see Walter out for his daily walk. Unfortunately, most of the other times I was driving and we couldn't chat so I would just honk the horn and wave. Luckily on occasion I would Run into Walter at Lily Lake and we would do catch-up. We would mostly reminisce about the Rockland Road crew and the North end .He really was a walking encyclopedia and had a memory like an elephant. R.I P Walter and my condolences to the Breen family.

Our sincere condolences to our Aunts and uncles for the loss of a beloved brother. We all have very fond memories of the times that we got to spend with uncle Walter during his yearly visit to Ontario. From his incredible knowledge of music to sports he was a walking encyclopedia. He especially enjoyed his nightly card games that he would play with Jackie, John and Bobby....4 kings was a favorite. He always brought laughter and a smile and was loved by all. Although we are saddened by his loss, we take comfort in knowing that he is with Nanny , Grampy and all his siblings that have gone to heaven before him.

I have very fond memories of visiting grammy and grampy's house, sitting on the couch with my siblings and having Uncle Walter and Uncle Ronnie come out to great us. Walter was always a gentle soul and carried that knowing smile everywhere he walked. Only God knows who has a bigger collection of Aunt Rosie's sock, my brother (Sean) and I or Uncle Walter, I supposed Uncle Walter now knows too. You will be missed.

I will miss Uncle Walter so much. He was always so kind to our Breen clan. Every time we would visit I’m sure it was chaos with 5 small kids, but he always sat and talked with all of us. I will miss seeing him in random places where it was easy to catch up about his life and how he was doing. I’m so sorry that he suffered in the end but thankful that He is with Jesus now and all the amazing Breen’s that have gone before him. Love you Uncle Walter. Rest easy.

My brother Walter was the kindest most loving soul that I have.ever known. Walter was a champion of the under dogs in life, He also had a special place in his heart for all his nieces and nephews and grand nieces and.nephews especially when they were young. My special memory of Walter was his relationship that he had with his brother Patrick. They were two little boys who were inseparable, Walter was Pattys champion and it didn't matter how big you were if you hurt Patty you would have to answer to Walter. When we lost Patty at the young age of 11 Walter lost his best friend, and God forgive me but at the time i never realized just how great Walters loss really was.I pray that Patty’s was the first face Walter saw when they opened the gates of Heaven to let him in.Love you forever brother.

I know Gary will write on this tribute wall but I need to say from the bottom of my heart I loved Walter. He only knew to be kind. A truly gentle soul. My favourite memories are him coming out of his room every visit. . Gary and I with five noisy little ones were always made to feel special. I loved how Walter and Nanny would talk to you at the same time. Heaven feels closer because your there.

I have a lot of special memories of Uncle Walter. Especially watching sports. We both love the Montreal Canadians and The Toronto Blue Jays. But when it came to football Uncle Walter had a different taste in football. He loved the NewYork Giants and I love the NewEngland Patriots. I still recall how his New York Giants beat my Patriots twice in the super bowl. Every time he would see me he would love to tease me and get me going on a debate! Uncle Walter was everyone’s friend he knew everyone. He was a proud RockWood Courter. He never missed a evening soft ball game in 40 years . He always enjoyed sitting with the guys at the canteen to watch the games . He was a true sportsman.Rest In Peace Uncle Walter give my Mom a hug for me . Nephew Donnie and Kitty

My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to Walter’s family. Especially to my close friend Ann, Walters sister.
Walter has been a very special friend in my life. I will miss seeing him at the bowling alley, where we met, and where Walter would wait for our very special hugs we shared over the many years we bowled together. We often played each other for HUGS, whoever made it to 100 points in a string would get a hug! It was a win for both of us. He was greatly loved and will be terribly missed by all who had the honour to know him. ❤️
