Very sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing. I fondly remember her from when we were in the Trinity Church Choir. She certainly was a wonderful lady. She was also very close to my Aunt, Winnie Walsh (nee Dick), who was also in the choir for many years. RIP Phyllis.

Dear Pam;
I am very sorry to learn of the passing of your dear mother. I remember her from around the Union Club and of course, I remember you from 145 Germain Street.
It is very difficult to lose a beloved parent at this time of the year. I know this from first hand experience.
Sincere sympathy in your very sad loss, Pam.

Pam I have so many memories of Phyl, from her picking me up in her green VW bug headed for church on Sunday mornings. Not before stopping at Green's at the head of King St where she would give me money to get a pack of Craven A menthol, for her. I was about 6. Back in the day when you could buy cigarettes at any age. Making nuts and bolts every Christmas, piercing my ears with Don's help.
I know the love you have for her, but, I also know how fiercely she loved you. Phyl loved Joe, she was so proud of the both of you. You are so blessed to have her in your heart forever. I am truly blessed to call her my Godmother.
Hugs to you and Joe.

Thinking of you and sending love, Pam. I know your memories will be forever with you and a source of comfort and strength. Any time I had occasion to see your beautiful mom when I was “home” from Montreal, she would always greet me with such warmth. Your tribute is a testimony to what a lovely lady she was!

I have known Phyllis since I was a kid. Loved going to Pams on days I could after school. Dinners were always funny with Phyllis’s humour n wit. What a wonderful tribute to your Mother Pam. She is definitely full of pride and would say “Well done Pamela”. My sincere condolences to you and Joe for your loss and definitely a FB treasure is gone. Hope to see those funny memories on FB each year. Catherine Whittaker

This is a beautiful tribute Pam - well done! You captured the essence of your Mom wonderfully in this tribute. I will miss my weekly chats with my darling little Auntie. We had great conversations and lots of laughs. I always ended the call with "I love you with all my heart".... and so it goes. I love you Auntie xxx
