Obituary of Marie Muise
It is with broken hearts that the family of Marie Louise Muise, wife of the late Maynard Muise, announce her passing on Monday, December 20, 2021at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on August 22, 1943, in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Fitzgerald) and Alvinie Leblanc.
Marie loved sewing quilts, picking berries and always enjoyed a good game of cards. She was known to all as a kind and easy going soul who cherished the times spent with family especially her adored grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Marie will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Wayne (Diane)of Saint John, Joey (Deedee) of Bloomfield, Preston (Kassey) and Kevin (Sarah) both of Saint John; daughters, Judy Nickerson (Chris) of Victoria, BC and Cathy Hebert (Dave) of Saint John; brothers, Nelson Leblanc (Jane), Albert Leblanc and Mike Leblanc all of Yarmouth, NS; sisters, Kathleen Sellick (the late Roy) of PE, Marion Surette (Bill), Shirley Whittaker (the late Ronnie) and Suzanne Muise (the late Ricky) all of Yarmouth, NS; grandchildren, Danielle, Rylie, Raegan, Reese, Gavin, Aidan, Jessica, and Renée; great-granddaughter, Nevaeh; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was also predeceased by her son, Mark, daughter, Tina and granddaughter, Katie.
Marie’s family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Bobby’s Hospice and Saint John Extra Mural for all the care and compassion shown to her while in their care. Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A private family service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances in Marie’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice. www.BrenansFH.com.
