Obituary of Heather May Latta-Moore
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heather May Latta-Moore which occurred on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John on May 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys (Hargrove) Latta.
Heather is survived by her niece, Diane Latta; nephew, Steve Latta; great-niece, Katherine Irngaut; best friend, Myrna Williams; as well as her two special friends, Helen Haggerty and Trudy Dugas. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Charlie Moore; brother and sister-in-law, Robert, and June Marie (Hayes); her fur-baby, Lilly.
Heather graduated from Vocational School in 1956 and worked various jobs as a civil servant for Saint John in clerical positions in many offices.
We would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kristofferson, all the staff and friends on Terrance Floor at Rocmaura Nursing Home, especially to the Palliative Care Unit and all of the staff and friends at Daeka Special Care Home. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). With visitation on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 1:00 PM in the Brenan’s Chapel. Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all those 12 and older attending the service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government-issued ID or proof of medical exemption. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Heather may be made to The SPCA of Saint John. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
