I met Robert when I first arrived in Canada as an international student. We shared many bus rides together and had many memorable conversations. Robert was always curious about everything that we talked about and made my days with his wonderful sense of humour. He is going to be missed.

My memories go way back to the days when Bobby as we called him then , would get on the bus and he would take a seat next to me ,greeting me by name and we would chat about South Bay and the area where he lived at that time and what he was doing .Always so gentle and polite from an early age ..
The years and contact with our community.families pass much too quickly ,thankfully precious memories of Bobby and his family linger on . We count it a blessing that our lives were touched with Robert and the Linton Family

I was sadden to hear of Robert's passing. Robert was such a likable person and touched so many hearts with his kind, gentle nature. Robert always took the time to greet you and ask how you and your family were doing. If he met you once he remembered you. I always enjoyed listening to Robert as he would always daily buy the Moncton Times and Telegraph Journal and would tell you what was going on in the world. He loved learning and challenging himself to always do better. My condolences go out to Gwen who Robert talked so fondly of, and who supported him daily, as well as the rest of his family. He will be sadly missed.
