Obituary of Ronald MacCollum
MacCollum, Ronald Scott – It is with sadness that the family of Ronald Scott MacCollum, of Parkland, Saint John, NB, announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Born in Saint John, NB on February 16, 1933, he was a loving husband to Louise Isobel (Baxter) MacCollum and a son of the late George and Merilla (Knox) MacCollum.
Ronald owned and operated a tire shop in Campbellton, NB prior to moving to Grand Bay-Westfield, NB.
Ronald is survived by his sons: Scott (Jane) MacCollum, of Taylor Lake, NB and Randy (Patricia) MacCollum, Bouctouche, NB, and his daughter, Lisa (Steven) Shepherd, of Bedford, NS.; his sister: Dorothy MacDonald (the late Donald) of Saint John, NB; his granddaughter Samantha MacCollum and his step-grandchildren: Graham Shepherd and Sandra Shepherd.
Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his sisters, Viola Ferris and Joan Rossley (the late Robert) and his grandson Michael MacCollum.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, a service will be held at a later date.
