Our Deepest condolences go out to the Kelly Family during this difficult time. Kay was a lovely lady and we are glad to have called her our friend for so many years. My Mother Eleanor had lots of great laughs with Kay over the phone, in person and playing cards on Thursdays and Bridge Club as well for so many years. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her.
Love Mary-Jo Mallette & Joe Mallette xoxo

Dearest Stephen, Michael and Pat and family, I was so so saddened to hear about your mom. She was such an amazing,
positive person with an infectious laugh and wonderful personality. All the Christmas's we would drive around to your house on Coburg street and our folks would be laughing, having a drink while we played around the tree. When we weren't at yours, they were at our house in Dominion Park (almost every weekend actually I guess because we were a bit younger) having a few drinks and a lot of laughs. I still remember when you babysat us one night while they were out together during a huge storm and the racoons were trying to break into our house. Our moms had the biggest laugh over we kids who thought it was a burgular trying to steal us. That's how I will always remember Kay, laughing and loving everyone around her. I'd still see your folks when I got home from Down under, when they'd come down for pizza and a drink and always brought their good sense of humour. Everyone loved being around your mom and dad. Your mom was definitely the "voice" of the gathering and boy could my dad rev her up about things (they loved a "verbal challenge"..all in good fun). After we lost your dad, I'd still see Kay when Big Al cut her hair. I spoke on the phone with her a few weeks ago and we laughed and talked about all of you and had the best conversation - her sense of humour never failed. She was also still worrying about everyone else as usual. Always a mom-the best. We are all going to miss Kay so so much, a very loved part of our lives and family and a very treasured part of my childhood memories. I know that her strength of faith in God will someday give you peace that she knew she would someday be with your dad. Our deepest sympathies to you all - Love Allie (Mackie) Kakulas, Evan, Corinne and Herk, Perth Western Australia
