Lizzy- I am so sorry for your loss.
Harry was so welcoming when I bought my home in Millidgeville 3 years ago. I was always outside doing renovations and he would walk down to check out the scene. I would look forward to our daily chats in the summer time and pieced together that he knew and adored my grandfather! He will be greatly missed and am so fortunate that I got to know him over the last few years.
xo,
Your neighbor, Lauren

First of all I am sorry for your loss. I only found out yesterday that Harry had died. As a director of the Kingston Farmers Market for 10 years I had the joy of seeing Harry on Saturdays. Many times we shared a breakfast together. Harry was always joyful, a fun loving conversationist, and options mattered to him (even when they were different then his).

Liz and family - So very sad to learn of Harry's passing. We offer our condolences. During my (Cathy) younger years I enjoyed many visits to the McInerney home. We lived just around the block from Black Street. Harry always had a great story and each was delivered with a mischievous grin and a twinkle in his eye. In later years when we'd run in to each other in Millidgeville he would share updates about various McInerney kids; always with great pride. May your memories from his long full life help comfort you in the days ahead.

I’m so very sad to learn of Harry’s passing. Although it has been a few years since I last saw him, Harry befriended me in 2009 in the pedway in Uptown Saint John. Over the years we had many great chats and Harry gave me with lots of advice and shared many interesting stories with me about his family and career. A highlight of our friendship was a waterfall adventure one day with he and Liz. Harry had a great sense of humour, a huge heart and left his mark on many people. To Liz, Harry’s children and grandchildren, his love of and pride in each of you was so clear to anyone who met him.

Dear Liz and family,
It is with sadness that we read of Harry's death. The McInerney family has always been special friends of the Hansen family and Harry and my brother Don kept their great friendship all through their years from childhood. His smile, laughter, great storytelling and caring will be missed.

Liz: I'm so sorry to hear of Harry's passing! When I was selling books in the City Market, he almost always stopped to share a story (and buy a book or two!). I really enjoyed talking to Harry, and learned so much! He was a lovely man, genuine and funny! Thinking of you and your family, and hope your happy memories will help ease the pain of losing him!

Liz-Very saddened to learn of Harry's passing while reading today's T-J (we are currently out of the country). Just a wonderful man and I believe the last of the McInerney clan from Mount Pleasant Avenue.. Our respective parents were great friends and you may know that Judge H.O. and Mrs Mc were my God Parents. So we had a long connection. His up-town friends in Brunswick Square will miss him as well as those at Tim's. Judy and I pass along our most sincere condolences.

Harry lived a long and full life with an outstanding supportive spouse which he regularly praised and acknowledged when we would encounter each other usually up town. Never without an opinion or an amusing incident to relate with his great sense of humour.

Liz, Anne and family. My deepest condolences on Harry’s passing. He was a character of the very best kind. From the first day I met Harry back in the Boyce Market all those years ago while Anne and I were at UNB to the end Harry was like a favourite uncle that I wished I had. Every short chat with Harry always had a story, anecdote or tall tale to amuse then he would often finish a with some advice or compliment or just a question about how my kids were doing. I will miss him at the Kingston Market or in the halls of Brunswick Square.
He leaves quite the legacy.

Our sincere condolences on the passing of Harry. Although we only had the privilege of knowing him over the past six years, he became a dear friend. We enjoyed our lively conversations with him. Elizabeth & family,
So sorry to hear of Harry's passing.
I met Harry uptown having coffee & chatting with what seemed like everyone who went by! He knew so many people! I loved how, when he found out I worked for Bell Aliant, he would show up at the door, ask for me & proceed to fill me in on what was not right with his service or phone bill! Of course he would offer his opinions on how things should be done.....he was always so funny & sweet.
I will miss seeing him at Tim's & waving to him as I walked by his house. Anne Leger

Dear Elizabeth and Family,
Elizabeth and I were very saddened to learn of Harry’s passing and extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences for your loss. When I worked at City Hall I would see Harry almost daily. He loved to chat with me on a variety of subjects. As he remembered me from the days his sons were in air cadets, he always brought them up in the conversation, and you could see the pride in his face. Our caring love, thoughts, and prayers are with you all as you reflect on his life and many contributions.
Most sincerely,
