Obituary of Douglas LeBaron Kierstead

After a long battle with Parkinson’s, Doug passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on December 23, 2021.

Born in Saint John, NB, 1943 he was the son of Allan and May Kierstead. Doug graduated from Saint John High in 1961.

Survived by his wife Lynn (nee Kierstead) for 58 years, daughter Heather, son Matthew and partner Heather, grandchildren Terry Lynn, Calvin, and Dawn. Brother Philip and Barb Kierstead of Rothesay, Sister-in-law Rose Kierstead of Saint John, and sister Marilyn and Ted Wall of Saint John. Several nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by his 12 year old son Stephen and brother Robert A Kierstead.
