Obituary of Arnold Hazen Brooks
Brooks, Arnold Hazen –
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Arnold Brooks announces his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 31, 2022.
He was born in Saint John on October 31, 1925 the son of the late George & Bertha Brooks (nee Cole).
Most of his working career was at the Irving Pulp & Paper Mill in Saint John from where he retired.
He was a very active man in his younger years, an avid outdoorsman whose passions were nature, fishing & hunting. He enjoyed music & was always singing a tune.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters Carol & Marilyn, sons David (Anita) & Gary (Iris).
Arnold was predeceased by his wife Barbara & his daughter Judith Ann.
He is survived by his brother Kenneth, sister-in-law Helen, several nieces, nephews & grandchildren.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1 pm - 4 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 1 pm in the chapel. Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all those 12 and older attending the visitation &/or service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government-issued ID or proof of medical exemption. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be left at www.BrenansFH.com.
