Obituary of Patricia Doreen Nice

It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Doreen Nice announces her passing on February 24, 2022, at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen nursing home. Born in Saint John on October 3, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Patricia (Worden) and Robert Cook.

Patricia had a deep love for animals and supported many different animal groups, both local and international including the WWF. She also had a great love for motor sports and attending concerts.

Patricia is survived by her companion James; sisters, Beatrice Kyle (Reginald), Leonora Goldsworthy (Stephen), Sharon Brown (Lloyd), Heather Bennett, and Judith Cook (late Ian Green); brothers, Robert Cook (Carolyn), Paul Cook (Dixie), and Phillip Cook (Ida); as well as her furry feline friends, Doreen and Vincent.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Nice in 1992; her brother, John Cook (Fayanne); her sister, Geraldine Sproul (Albert).

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Visitation for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 2 PM in the Brenan’s Chapel.
