I just heard about Alan‘s passing and I am so sorry. We’ve been out of the country.
Allen was my best friend for the first 15 years of our lives. We had wonderful times together as next-door neighbors. We would get in a little bit of trouble once in a while but we sure had a fun time together.
I am thinking of the little camp that his dad built for him on the back half of their lot. Al and I tried to spend the night in it when we were about seven years old. I don’t think it lasted more than a couple of hours though because when it got dark we started to talk about the Ghosts and that was the end of our camping expedition.
He certainly was a great friend and I know a wonderful family man. Died too young.

Thank you for our two amazing girls today and everyday . I spent 25 years total with Allan in all our youthful years. Boy so many good memories we made during this time.He was a good man with a big heart that loved his parents and kids to no end. He always had a great story to tell down to the slightest detail with a big grin on his face. Rest in peace Allan .. thanks for the memories.

I grew up with Alan in what was the “Roderick Row” neighbourhood. There were 40 boys and 6 girls and there was always some kind of neighbourhood sports going on. I don’t think that I realized until many years later, what a special time it was and how lucky we all were to be a part of it. Alan’s passing marks another one who was part of those year’s and I am sad to witness those individuals slip away.
May Alan Rest In Peace. My condolences to May Lou and Alan’s family.

Sincere sympathy to the family in the passing of Allan. I knew Allan for many years as we were in the same classes at Barnhill Memorial School. We lost touch for a few years then he joined the City where we were able to reconnect. He was a good person and you will miss him.

Colleen and I so sorry to learn of Allan’s passing. He and I worked together for many years at Murdoch Lingley Limited and the City of Saint John in surveying until his move to the Traffic Division. I have fond memories of Allan and his parents Scotty and Jo and the trips to Doaktown to enjoy time on the water salmon fishing. God Bless you old friend. Gavin and Colleen Seaman
