Obituary of June Lane
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of June Madeline Lane (Price), wife of the late Kenneth Lane, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Rocmaura Nursing Home. June was born in Saint John on September 20, 1956, daughter of the Late Lawrence Price and Joy McKenzie.
Family was very important to June. Her daughters and granddaughters were her pride and joy. She had a special place in her heart for her nephew Matthew. In her younger years she enjoyed camping trips with her mom and family. There were many trips to Bangor, where a lot of shopping would be done. June loved the holidays, during her time in Rocmaura her room was decorated, and she always had an outfit to match the occasion. June loved to color, do word searches, play bingo and keep in touch with family and friends daily.
June will be missed by her daughters: Kelly Dean (Dave), Tanya Severin (Mark) and Patricia Dean; sister Tanya Smith (Wilfred); sister-in-law Catherine Price; grandchildren: Magen and Iesha, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by her brothers Thomas and David Price.
The family would like to send a special thank you to all the staff at Rocmaura. It gave us great comfort, especially these last few years, knowing she was getting the care she needed when we couldn’t be there. Your kindness was very much appreciated.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday, April 26 from 1:00 – 2:00. A funeral service will take place immediately following in the Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Donations in June’s memory may be made to The Rocmaura Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
